Fulfill Your Commitments and Feel Good About Yourself

It’s important that we fulfill our commitments. If we are tired or lazy and, as a result, choose to not do what we have promised to do, we let other people down and we let ourselves down. We degrade ourselves in the process, we weaken our message, we disrespect ourselves and others, we increase our guilt, shame and self-loathing, and open ourselves up to more self-sabotaging behaviors in the future. Best we not go there. If we have let things slide, best we seize the opportunity to fulfill our commitments and make things right.

Our ego is threatened by our desire to accept and forgive others. Our ego is driven by our fear and insecurity. We need to give it no power to influence us. We do this by reminding ourselves daily, every moment, with every choice we make that forgiveness is the key to happiness, forgiveness is the key to success, forgiveness is the key to inner peace.

DAY 8 – FORGIVE TO WIN’S FORGIVENESS DIET – SILENCING THE EGO

The ego will tell you “Nice guys finish last” and “No good deed goes unpunished.” These are lies of the ego to sabotage your efforts, to keep you stuck in self-loathing and self-sabotage. Do not listen to that voice. It is not your friend. Listen to your Inner Colleague, that voice which knows the truth. Have faith in the power of estimable acts, acceptance, compassion and forgiveness to heal you, to help you eliminate self-sabotaging behaviors and to help you manifest the life you desire and deserve.
